The Arbor Gallery at Kickapoo Creek Winery is proud to offer a new venue for area artists to exhibit and sell their work.

CynThia Gysin, a photographer from Peoria, is currently the featured artist at the Arbor Gallery. The inspiration for her botanical and landscape photography is centered here in the Heartland. Through the lens of her camera, she makes that which seems ordinary extraordinary.

CynThia's fascination with digital photography began several years ago, when she was asked to assemble a photographic exhibit commemorating the 150th Anniversary of Springdale Cemetary for the Peoria Public Library. She recently completed a second series entitled "The Art of Sprindale Cemetary" for the library.

CynThia is a member of the Bohemian Art Society and the Peoria Camera Club, as well as a local group of photographers who post images in the website Flickr. Her work can also be viewed online at: www.cynthiajgysin.com.

Her work will be on display in the Gallery until September 9th.
